Houston Lakes Cinemas
The Houston Lakes Cinemas is a quaint little theatre located on GA 96 near Beulah Church. It was a 10-screen theater when it first opened back in June 2010. Since then, it has been upgraded in the form of two new screens. Among the more notable improvements are new 3D digital projection and a redesigned lobby. Houston Lakes Cinemas
While the theatre hasn't exactly won the coveted trophy for the best movie theater in the area, it does have a plethora of entertainment offerings to keep audiences of all ages happy. Aside from a slew of Hollywood classics, the venue also offers up a couple of unique family-friendly attractions. These include Rigby's Water World and the Houston Zoo. For the most part, the cinema is open for business from Tuesday through Sunday. During the weekend, however, the place is hopping mad. This is probably because of the number of patrons it churns out, but it could be because of a lack of a proper concessions system.
The site is also home to one of the area's better lunch specials. For that reason, it's well worth checking out at least once in a while. There's also the option of a full-service restaurant if you're in the mood for something a little more substantial. If you're looking to dine on a budget, though, you might want to opt for the less expensive taquerias and taco trucks found elsewhere in the area. Fortunately, the nearest metropolis is just a hop, skip, and jump away. With that said, you'll need a ticket to get in. Thankfully, there are a few online ticket brokers that specialize in reserving seats for you, such as Ticketmaster, MovieTickets.com, and TicketAdvisor. Regardless of what you're looking for, there's a TicketAdvisor nearby to suit your needs. No matter where you're from, the Houston Lakes Cinemas is a must-stop on your next visit to the metroplex. Just make sure you bring a credit card!
