Houston Rodeo Lineup 2022

In honor of the 90th anniversary of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the organization has announced the full entertainment lineup for 2022. Among other acts, the HLSR has a star-studded line-up of country, pop, and Christian artists. One of the most popular events of the year, the Houston Rodeo is expected to attract at least 2.5 million visitors. The weekend-long event features concerts, rodeos, and carnivals. It is the largest cultural event in Houston and has attracted some of the world's most popular recording artists and performers. Houston Rodeo Lineup 2022

The list of upcoming events includes a special celebration for the opening day. Attendees will enjoy interactive family-friendly activities and the chance to take home a Howdy bobblehead. There will be a variety of food and drinks available, including a fried chicken cook-off and a World Championship Bar-B-Que Contest. Also planned are carnival rides and parades.

Week three of the HLSR will feature standout musical artists such as Khalid, Chris Stapleton, and Gwen Stefani. Several local favorites will perform, as well. Tim McGraw is another big name on the lineup, with performances on both Armed Service Appreciation Day and on the first weekday.

George Strait, the Texas native who has performed in Houston on numerous occasions, is the final act on the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's 2022 schedule. Strait is known for his hits, such as "Don't Think Twice, Think Fast" and "I Fall in Love Too Easily." His performance will be recorded for the RodeoHouston website and will include special guest Ashley McBryde.

Other acts in the 2022 Houston Rodeo lineup are more country music acts, including Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, and Sam Hunt. Maren Morris, a genre-bender who has made a name for herself on the country scene, will also be performing. A few other acts are also slated to appear, such as Lauren Daigle, American Idol's runner-up, and Kane Brown.

There are also several rap and hip-hop acts on the 2022 HLSR lineup, including Bun B, Lil' Keke, Slim Thug, and Z-Ro. Additionally, a new event, the Women's Breakaway Roping competition, will make its debut. These events have attracted over two million spectators in the past.

Fans can purchase commemorative tickets for $16. The RodeoHouston website has all of the ticket information they will need. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 13. If you don't want to wait until the start of the rodeo season, you can always buy tickets in advance. However, if you're looking to attend during the weekend, you will want to arrive early.

The RodeoHouston website also has parking information. Parking is available at the PAC, One Market Square Garage, and the NRG Arena. You should also plan on arriving at the arena about an hour and a half before the start of the event. To avoid a last-minute crowd, pre-book your parking. This is particularly important if you're traveling by car.

Tickets to the Houston Rodeo and other events at HLSR are available through the RodeoHouston website. The site also has more details on the upcoming event, such as how to buy tickets and find cheap tickets.
