Among the attractions at Space Center are permanent and traveling exhibits, live shows, and theaters. You can even go on a tram tour that takes you close to the center. The best way to do this is to visit during the morning or afternoon. There are several ways to get to the center, including taxi, ride-share service, or by car.

The Manned Space Flight Education Foundation, which operates the space center, draws more than 1.25 million visitors a year. They are a nonprofit organization that offers a range of educational programs for both kids and adults. In addition, the nonprofit is certified as an autism center. As such, they offer programs and events for children with special needs, such as Autism Awareness.

Space Center Houston was designed by award-winning experience designer Bob Rogers. The facility was designed to preserve the history of human spaceflight and to provide an interactive and immersive learning experience. This facility also brings together NASA, commercial space partners, and global space agencies. The mission of Space Center Houston is to educate and engage the public, with a focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education.

Visitors to the space center can take a tour of a space shuttle cockpit, and they can learn about astronauts living in space. Additionally, Space Center Houston is home to a number of reusable spacecraft, which allow you to see what it's like to be in space.

For more information, check out the Space Center website. You can also contact the Center by phone or email. If you're planning a trip to the Space Center, consider staying at one of the many hotels near the center. Some of the top hotels are located in Downtown Houston, Herman Park, or Clear Lake.

One of the most popular attractions at the Space Center is the Mission Mars exhibit. The exhibit explores the journey of NASA. Guests can learn about the spacecraft used to travel to the moon, and they can also touch the Moon rock.

Another Space Center attraction is the SpaceX 9 rocket exhibit. This is one of only two SpaceX 9 rockets in existence. While it's not a new display, the SpaceX 9 is one of the newest, and you can still visit the exhibit.

At the end of the day, you can watch a space-related movie at the Space Center Theater, which is one of the most technologically advanced 4K theaters in Texas. Tickets to the theater are included with a general admission ticket to the museum. However, you'll need to buy additional tickets for lunch with an astronaut tour.

Other activities at the Space Center are SpaceX 9 Rocket exhibit, Astronaut Gallery, and the Mission Briefing Center. Guests can also participate in Astronaut Fridays. These are first-come, first-served opportunities to meet a real NASA astronaut and hear his or her stories.
