In case you didn't know, Candytopia is a candy-themed attraction that is modeled after the movie "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory." Guests will get a tour of the exhibit, which is designed to mimic a real tour. There are several rooms to explore. Each has a distinct theme.

For example, one room is a candy art gallery. These artworks are created with a hard shellac type of coating that lets guests touch and feel the candy creations. They also come in a variety of shapes and sizes. One of the best is a giant Pharoah sphinx.

While the exhibit has changed a bit since its original run in Atlanta, it still consists of the main components. This includes a marshmallow pit that holds over a quarter million marshmallows, a confetti shower, and more. Unlike a gummy bear, though, these items are not meant to be licked.

As you might expect, it is not cheap. Tickets are $23 for children aged 4-12 and $30 for adults. However, tickets are free for kids under three years old. Although, there is a 30-minute delay between the time you purchase your ticket and the time you actually enter the venue.

During your visit, you will get to meet the Candytopia staff, who are dressed in Willy Wonka-esque outfits. They will give you an orientation to the experience and tell you which rooms to explore. You will then be allowed to explore the museum at your own pace.

If you have a camera, then this is a great place to take your picture. The app will give you all kinds of fun photo ops, including spinning a chocolate river, a colorful vortex, and more.

Visiting the candy wonderland is fun for the entire family. However, it can be a little exhausting. There are 14 themed rooms to choose from. There is a confetti room, a ring swing garden, and a "Sweet-toothed phantasmagoria" which features more than a dozen rooms. Guests can sample candy and interact with the exhibit's minions.

Overall, the Candytopia exhibit is an impressive feat. From the infinity mirror room to the giant sphinx, it is packed with sweet-themed goodies. Depending on your whim, you could spend a day exploring the attraction, or you might find yourself exhausted and ready to head home. Fortunately, Candytopia is open through September 6, 2021.

While the experience is not for everyone, it is sure to be the highlight of a rainy day. To make it even better, it is Instagram-friendly. Users can take pictures of the candy artwork using the Candytopia app, which has a few other cool features, too.

Whether you're planning a trip to Houston or a long trek to California, you'll want to consider Candytopia. Despite its limited availability, it is an awesome experience that is fun for the whole family.
